Purpose
The purpose of this activity is to provide students with an opportunity disseminate their DNP evidence-based practice change project in a poster presentation. This is a progressive assignment that begins in NR707 and is completed in NR 709.
Course Outcome

CO 1: Evaluate the outcomes of the DNP project using narrative and statistical methods (POs 3, 5, 6).
CO 2: Develop a comprehensive plan for communicating the results of the evaluation of the DNP project for determination of sustainability and replication (POs 5, 6).
CO 3: Engage in a process of self-assessment and career planning through the development of an electronic professional portfolio to demonstrate growth and development, the achievement of program outcomes, and DNP sub-competencies as designated in the AACN DNP Essentials (PO 6).
CO 4: Use project management processes to implement the DNP project (POs 4, 8).

Preparing the Assignment
- Create your poster using the 40″ x 60″ PowerPoint template. Utilize the Professional Poster Template located in the Student Resource Center under “Project and Practicum Resources” to create your poster.
- Download the Professional Poster Template available in course resources. This template must be used to create and complete your poster.
- Notice that the textboxes are created with the required headings. The font, font size, and headers are selected. er title is 72-font. Name and credentials are 42-font. The headings are 32-font. The text is a legible font size.

Template headings are used (Practice Problem, Clinical Question, Methodology, Results, Conclusions, Implications, and References). er must convey the project in the most concise and accurate way possible to ensure reader comprehension.

Implications should be considered at the various systems levels, including Micro (patient outcomes, Meso (nursing practice), and Macro (facility or healthcare system) levels.
