The purpose of this assessment is to assess the student in the following learning outcomes:<\/p>\n
1.1. Confirm core activities, customer base, business values and current business direction.<\/p>\n
1.2. Identify and analyse information on current and past marketing and its effectiveness.<\/p>\n
1.3. Review business performance information to identify strengths, weaknesses and critical success factors.<\/p>\n
1.4. Identify and record current capabilities and resources, including the need for specialist assistance.<\/p>\n
1.5. Record and report information according to organisational requirements.<\/p>\n
There are four (4) tasks to complete for this unit of competence:<\/p>\n
This assessment is based on ACA Restaurant Caf\u00e9\u2019 Business Plan and uses several scenarios to complete the 4 (four) Tasks. Certain tasks contain sub-tasks with written questionnaires, case study analysis report, role plays and policy development.<\/p>\n
These tasks comprise the assessment of the application of ACA Restaurant Caf\u00e9\u2019 business standards and policy knowledge and identifying and addressing the needs to analyse internal and external business environments and develop and evaluate marketing strategies and plans for products and services. You will need to demonstrate your management skills in applying appropriate marketing strategy tactics that will assist to define the overall direction and realise your business\u2019s goals and build a strong reputation for your products\/services.
