You will write an essay comparing and contrasting different physical activities. Overview of assignment Purpose: to compare, evaluate and inform Audience: teens and young adults Topic: Consider the different physical activities you have tried in this class, and any others you have tried in the past.  I have done swimming,walking,bowling,and archery. ****How do they compare as far as fun, convenience, expense and safety. ****How do they help or provide opportunities for aerobic, flexibility, balance, and strength training?****What are the advantages and disadvantages of each activity? ****You will need to do a little research to find facts, statistics, or quotes from experts you can use in your essay. Each paragraph should include a fact/statistic/quote****Remember to keep track of your sources. You will need a works cited or references included in the essay! You may choose to organize this essay in one of two ways: A) by activity (each paragraph in the body of the essay will analyze one activity, such as snowboarding), or B) by issue (each paragraph in the body of the essay will deal with one topic, such as safety) Length: at least 400 words.
