There are a number of myths about suicide that persist in society. What is one misconception that you had about suicide before completing the readings and associated course materials for this week? What is the correct information that you learned from this week’s readings? Remember, the focus here is to learn, not judge. Does getting psychological help or treatment have a stigma associated with it? If so, why does getting help for suicidal thoughts or feelings have a stigma attached to it? What can be done about this? What can you do about this in your own life?
