You will read more specifics on each court in the lesson and readings. The correctional system can vary from state to state. The Federal Prison System is consistent across the country. You can search your own state’s corrections history. Be sure to examine what types of inmates they house, disciplinary actions they can take, number of inmates, and changes or innovations your state has taken to deal with the prison population.
