The interview portion can be done on me. Here’s the answered portion of the interview questions. What is the age of the individual being interviewed? What is the relationship of the individual to you? How long have they had the disorder? 35…Self and has had this disorder for the past 9 years. What clinical manifestations of the disorder does the individual experience? How does it compare to what you discovered in your resources? I’ve experienced irregular periods, excess hair growth on the face, acne and weight gain. I’m a textbook case, I have all the symptoms. What complications of the disorder does the individual experience? How does this compare to what you discovered in your resources? Currently at the moment I’m not experiencing any complications due to pregnancy. What other medical conditions/disorders has the individual been diagnosed with? Do their other medical conditions have any effect on the chosen disorder? I’ve had heavy bleeding when on my cycle which is a symptom of this disorder. How does the disease affect the individual’s daily living/activities? (repeat hospitalizations, has to take a lot of meds, any activity restrictions, a lot of appointments?)This disease affects your self esteem. With heavy cycles my activities are limited. And I’ve had to have laser treatments for the hair growth. How does the disease/disorder affect the individual’s outlook on life? (Feel like a burden to family, do they have good family support, feel hopeless, optimistic, good coping mechanisms?) You have options when it comes to certain things but fertility was my biggest obstacle. What did you learn from interviewing the individual?
