 Today’s healthcare environment poses diverse and complex patient care challenges and requires a highly qualified and experienced nursing workforce. To mitigate these challenges are graduate nursing roles, each with a different set of competencies and expertise. It is important that healthcare providers and administrators are able to distinguish the uniqueness of each role to best use the role and develop strategies for effective collaboration and interprofessional interaction.

1. Appraise the population served through your APRN role.
2. Evaluate certification opportunities for your chosen role.
3. Develop your licensure, accreditation, certification, and education (LACE) plan based on your chosen APRN role.
4. Investigate state-specific implications for your chosen role.
5. Include examples of how APRN disciplines can collaborate and how shared perspectives may exist with other disciplines.

Your paper must be presented in a single Microsoft Word document. The paper must be between 4–5 pages in length, not including the title and reference pages. The paper must use proper APA formatting as directed in the APA Publication Manual, 7th edition, including the title page and reference page, with properly formatted citations in the body of the paper.
