Your research proposal should align with your programme of study and be oriented towards the dissertation. Your proposal must relate to your discipline-specific pathways/programme. For example, if you are undertaking a BA (Hons) in International Business and Finance then your proposal (which leads to your dissertation) should align with the pathway discipline i.e. your proposal/dissertation must relate to a Finance topic.
