The recommendations are meant to help DFID advisors andpartners to design and implement policies in favor of people living with disabilities.The research focused on populations living in low and middle-income countries. It tookfive days for the research team to assemble relevant information about disabled refugees invarious countries. First, the team relied on a review of the country profile in question. Therewere no systematic reviews available related to disabled people and humanitarian services. Fewpeer-reviewed articles and internal guidance articles had little information that helped to developthe research. Most information was derived from non-peer reviewed articles such as organizationreports.
