In a 6- to 8-slide PowerPoint presentation, complete with speaker\u2019s notes, continue the work that will result in your finished presentation for the Board of Directors.
In this module\u2019s presentation, discuss quality management tools and applications that the leaders at Holyoke Soldiers\u2019 Home could have used to improve patient and employee safety. Explain the importance of these quality management tools and applications, both during and outside of a pandemic. In addition to the tools you identify, research SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation) and PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act), and recommend one of these quality tools for the Soldiers\u2019 Home. Explain the rationale of your recommendation.
Note: At this point, your PowerPoint presentation should be at least 18-24 slides, not including your title or reference slides. You should have 6-8 references as well.

Review other background materials and conduct additional research and in 4-5 pages (excluding title and reference pages) complete the following:
1. Discuss in general if existing \u201chigh-level\u201d quality of care would better prepare an organization to handle a pandemic.
2. Identify if the lack of quality of care or measures contributed to the spread at the Soldiers\u2019 Home.
3. Discuss federal review of Holyoke Soldiers\u2019 Home. Was it adequate or inadequate?
4. Rationalize what could have been done differently pre-COVID-19 to ensure a high level of quality.
5. Discuss how you, as a healthcare leader, should make sure quality of care is being given to the patients at the facility. Identify quantitative and qualitative methods to monitor quality and how the data\/information should be distributed to the organization.
