In fact, at no time in the last century has \u00a0interest in employee mental health and wellness programs been so \u00a0important, not just for employees as individuals, but also in relation \u00a0to the lens through which we, as employees, see ourselves, along with \u00a0our families, friends, and co-workers.<\/p>\n<p>For \u00a0this assignment, you are tasked with researching what changes employers \u00a0are making to their employee benefit plan policies and programs\u00a0 to \u00a0call attention to the need for employees to be proactive rather than \u00a0reactive in relation to mental health and wellness issues. In order to \u00a0be successful with this assignment, you must answer the following \u00a0questions. <\/p>\n<p>1. From an <strong>employer\u2019s<\/strong> perspective, what are the \u00a0advantages of establishing an employee mental health &#038; wellness \u00a0program? Support your comments with specific research.<\/p>\n<p>2. From an <strong>employee&apos;s<\/strong> \u00a0perspective, what are the advantages of utilizing a comprehensive, \u00a0confidential mental health and wellness program designed to be proactive \u00a0in the early detection of potential problems related to mental health \u00a0and wellbeing (examples: stress, burnout, substance abuse, financial \u00a0problems, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>3. From a return-on-investment (ROI) perspective, how might an <strong>organization<\/strong> \u00a0measure the effectiveness of its confidential employee mental health \u00a0&#038; wellness program?
